Welcome to Pacific Northwest Outdoor Adventures
This site has been developed as a way for me to share my love for the outdoors not only with those who already are experiencing what this area of the country has to offer but also those who are feeling the call to get outside and experience their own Pacific Northwest Outdoor Adventure. Here you will find reports and photographs of my trips whether they be hiking, backpacking, scrambling, biking, snowshoeing, or cross-country skiing. I include the gear I took along, directions on getting there, and where to stop for a post-adventure repast (and yes, I often schedule an adventure near someplace I want to eat so I have a ready excuse for doing so). You will also find my review of the gear I use as well as recommendations as to where you can purchase it. For the kids or the adult with a soft spot for canine companions, take a look at Dibs the Wonder Dog. Here you will meet the world's best dog, a dachshund/chihuahua mix I adopted (technically speaking since he clearly adopted me) at age 9 in 2009. Finally, resources and links are provided to help you make the most of your Pacific Northwest Outdoor Adventure. Thanks for visiting.
